This patch brings many new features to the game that should spice things up for players as they strive to secure their chicken dinners. The first on that list is the highly anticipated Foggy Weather setting. The Foggy Weather setting has a low probability to occur during a match once the patch hits the live servers. The setting will hinder players sight, making it difficult to spot opponents at range, thus, forcing players to engage at closer distances.
The patch also brings the addition of the Mini-14 to the arsenal of weapons available to players on the island of Erangel. The Mini-14 is a semi-automatic marksman rifle that can equip sniper rifle attachments for both muzzle and magazine slot and can also equip any optic in the game. While the Mini-14 has lower damage than the other DMR’s in the game, it makes up for it with its very high muzzle velocity and low bullet drop. As we mentioned in an earlier post, only apparel items are available for trading but hopefully soon though we will see some amazing Mini-14 skins available to rock in our loadout.
When it comes to the map itself, there are also some major changes to the northeast sector. The changes are as follows: a rework of Stalber to include various military base style buildings and new houses, as well as the addition of a brand new city named Kameshki which is located east of Stalber.
Finally, along with the new additions to the game, the patch also promises better optimization, optimized UI, new crosshair settings, and various other updates. For the full patch notes be sure to head over to the PUBG site and be sure to let us know what you think of this newest patch!
