ESL One: New York kicks off at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in New York City from September 15 – 17th. The CS:GO tournament is part of the Intel Gran Grand Slam Season 1 and features a $250,000 prize pool.

New Game: PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS Items are Now Tradeable on OPSkins

OPSkins Marketplace now supports the trading of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS items. You can buy items here, and sell them here.

From the creator of the “battle royale” mode from Arma 2, PLAYERUKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is a massive multi-player online survival video game published by Bluehole Inc. The gameplay is competitive survival, last-man-standing shooter. Players are dropped into a large, open area where they must fight for their survival while the battlefield itself shrinks, which forces them to get closer to one-another. PLAYERUKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS allows you to use a wide variety of weapons and vehicles in the battleground to fight your way to the top of the leader boards.

“Killing off another player cuts down on your competition, but it also offers up the opportunity to grab some loot. Your character can only carry around a limited amount of gear, so there are important questions to ask whenever you come across new items. Would a helmet be more beneficial in the longterm than a couple of med kits? Is it better to stick with your current 9mm pistol, or hold out hope that you’ll be able to find ammo for a found 12 gauge shotgun?” – PUBG Wiki

At the start of a match, every player in the game starts off on a small island where they wait some minutes to load into the game (basically a queue). After that time is up, players get flown over an area and parachuted onto it. Once landed, loot spawns in different areas – and because it is based on the Arma 3 model, it is all random.

The cosmetic items are now available for sale in our marketplace and waiting for you to check them out. Customize your character and make the experience of a battle royale unique with the best deals on the world’s largest marketplace of its kind.

Weapon Builder

Looking for the perfect skin with the perfect stickers? If you were not sure how the skin would look with a sticker or several stickers on it, then the weapon builder can help you – just remember that if the Weapon Builder cannot show you a result of the skin with the stickers, then that means that the specific combination that you’re looking for is currently unavailable in our marketplace. You can learn more about it here.

The Item Database

This catalog enables you to view and research current skins, including wears and patterns. Be it a Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field Tested, Battle Scarred or a Well Worn skin, the database provides our users with valuable information so you can have a better idea of what skins are out there in the marketplace. To find out more about the database, you can click here.

Instant Field Inspection™

This upgraded service allows buyers to view actual pictures of the CS:GO items you wish to sell, without buyers having to launch the game in order to inspect them. As a seller, this enhances the marketability of your item because it’s easier for a buyer to inspect a knife pattern, the wear of a skin, the placement of a sticker on the weapon you’re selling, etc – especially while the buyer is on a mobile device. As a buyer, this allows you to inspect high-tiered items without having to launch CS:GO first. Learn more about how you can add this feature to your listings by clicking here.

New Sale Page Features

We added a series of commonly requested new features to our Sale Page. These features help you sell higher volumes of items even faster and easier. We are also introduced several site features that made navigating through items much easier. You can read all about them and how they work here.

Easily Viewing Skins with stickers

This update on allows users to inspect stickers on the CS:GO skins through the their icons in the store. Gone are the days of confusion about what sticker the skin has, or the inconvenience of having to load CS:GO every time you wanted to inspect a skin and see if it had stickers. To find out more about this feature, you can click here.

New OPSkins Inventory Feature

Remember in the old days when you couldn’t get your hands on that deal you just found because your Steam account had a trade cool-down, so you had to wait and possibly miss out on the deal? Now you don’t have to go through all the hassle of waiting for the cool-down to pass with the OPSkins Inventory. This allows you to buy items and deliver them to your OPSkins inventory, where you can either re-list the item or withdraw it to your Steam account at a later time. This means that you can buy the item and retrieve it at your convenience when you are able to trade again. You can read more about it here.

New OPSkins Login Method

We’ve enabled you to increase the security on your OPSkins account by adding a new username and password that no longer depends on your Steam login. So, if your Steam account was ever compromised, your OPSkins account would remain safe. We also made it possible for users to log into OPSkins when Steam is down, where previously you could not sign in if Steam Community was unavailable. This means that during some Steam outages, you can continue trading. Click here to learn more.

Bulk Item Repricing Tool

You can now reprice a bulk quantity of items with one simple step. Gone are the days when you had to manage the price of each item individually if you wished to change more than one. You can read about it here.

One Hour Cashouts

This feature enables you to sell your CS:GO, Dota 2, TF2, H1Z1, PayDay 2 and Steam items on our website and have real-life money deposited into your PayPal account within one hour of the cashout request being issued. If you wish to learn how to get your earnings sent to your PayPal account quicker click here.

The Glove Case: Average Prices and Trends Since Release

Solid numbers on the CS:GO Glove Case are in – it took a while but that is because Valve decided to make the gloves just as rare as knives, so units were slow to list and so true averages were slower to determine. This does not mean that the gloves and the other skins in the case are slow sellers. On the contrary, the few units of every single Glove skin posted and most would be bought almost immediately, which meant that some days OPSkins had stock of one skin, and the next day stock of the others.

The lack of consistency reflects the scarcity of the skins. But we believe that these gloves will become more common in our marketplace. Here are the averages:

The Glove Case’s suggested price on our marketplace is $0.52, but you can find units that sell for even less at $0.32. Like any other CS:GO case, the price tag started out high at $10, but as the market got flooded by new units (1,420 units sold on its second day) the price plummeted. Its current average price is $0.39 and it seems to keep dropping but a a slower rate. You could hold on to one of these if you wanted to, but seeing its performance and unless you want to open it in the future, you are probably better off selling it.

The most expensive gloves currently on our market are the Specialist Gloves Foundation, this could be because the owner of the gloves is trying to establish a trend since there is no previous market price, meaning that there haven’t been any units of this skin with this specific wear sold before in our marketplace. Then again, they are pretty cool looking gloves.

Since there is no previous sale history on these gloves, we cannot tell what will happen with the suggested price. What we can say is that if these gloves sell for their current asking price, the following units will be cheaper because that is how the skin market usually behaves – the first units sold are usually the most expensive, then the price lowers, and climbs back up just below the initial asking price when it stabilizes.

Next up, the Specialist Gloves Crimson Kimono with a similar predicament but with a lower price. No units have been sold on our marketplace yet but if these sell then they will definitely set a trend. The price tag may look steep but remember it is the first unit being listed of a set of skins that is very rare.

The third most expensive skin in the case and one that has a decent sale history. It has been selling units almost every day since the first one was bought, and the price went from $499.99 on the first sale to $560.00 and back to $514.89. Its price rose again to $540.00 but there are still no signs of any stable price. For that matter it is anyone’s game when it comes to the price at which they want to sale their gloves. This can be good if you’re selling right now and someone decides to buy them at the price you have set. If you’re buying and you already know how the skins economy works, you will probably hold off for a bit longer until the price comes down or buy the same skin with more wear; a Field-Tested pair of these is worth around $300.00.

It is worth mentioning that the Specialist Gloves Emerald WebHand Wraps Slaughter and Sport Gloves Pandora’s Box have a suggested price over $400 and asking prices between $500.00 and $600.00, so if you have any laying around, it is a good idea to put them up for sale.

Now, on the topic of weapon skins (because they have been selling), we have better information regarding the behavior of their prices in our marketplace. They are not as expensive as the gloves, but they still pack quite a punch and are easier to obtain.

The most expensive weapon in the case is the StatTrak™ M4A4 Buzz Kill. The Factory New version started it’s sale history at $174.49, then it jumped to $199.00, stayed there for a while, to come back down to $153.00. If you have any lying around in your inventory it would be a good idea to keep them around since they’re few and far in between.

The StatTrak™ SSG 08 Dragonfire has an interesting sale history. It is currently $8 over the it’s lowest suggested price but it is anyone’s guess at this point since the suggested price plummeted, then rose, fell, rose again and in it’s latest drop it lost $53.00 on its suggested price. However, if you’re looking to buy a decent sniper rifle that is not an AWP, you can opt for this skin, which some are dubbing it the “Budget D-Lore”.

It is a good thing then that these are the most expensive items in the case because the others have really god paint jobs. Honorable mentions include the Sawed-Off Wasteland PrincessDual Berettas Royal Consorts and the M4A1-S Flashback. All of these skins are under $15.00, in stock and really easy on the eyes.

Let us know what are your thoughts on the Glove Case and the new gloves and the new skins the case brought to CS:GO.

The suggested prices on the charts were taken from OPSkins on of December 19th, 2016.

New Games on OPSkins: Rust, Killing Floor and Unturned Added

OPSkins is proud to announce that we now support the sale of items from Rust and Killing Floor 2. We also recently added Unturned items as well.

Rust is a multiplayer survival game, in which players are let loose on a vast and harsh wilderness. Players have to craft items by gathering materials that will help them battle threats, such as wolves, bears, hypothermia, radiation, starvation and even other players. Items for rust currently have price tags under $100.00 on the Steam Market.

Killing Floor 2 is a multiplayer first-person shooter game where you get to shoot hordes of zombies with your friends while listening to heavy metal. Each player can select from up to seven different perks that will grant them unique abilities to fight the hordes of ZEDs. All the weapon modifications are cosmetic, so if you’re a noob there’s no way around it. On the Steam marketplace these skins have a higher price tag, with numbers in the higher three digits. You will be able to sell crafted skins that are tradeable on the Steam platform.

Last but not least, Unturned. An indie free-to-play, zombie-themed survival game that is accessible for everyone. Players have to craft items and weapons, while battling zombies, starvation, thirst, disease and even hypothermia on large open world maps. These items have been available in our marketplace for some time now.

We plan on expanding our support for more games in our marketplace so tell us, which game would you want us to add next?

OPSkins Site Update: Find the perfect skin with the new Weapon Builder

As part of our constant improvement to our marketplace, we’ve added a nifty new feature to the site called the Weapon Builder.

Lets say you have a specific CS:GO skin that you want to buy, and you want to know if there are any on sale on OPSkins with stickers. You simply go to the Weapon Builder page and select the weapon category:

You will be able to choose from pistols, rifles, SMGs, shotguns and machine guns (heavy). For this example, we chose the rifles.

And more specifically, we chose the AK-47 from the list of available rifles for CS:GO.

The page will now show a drop-down list of the skin names for this rifle. We chose the Case Hardened skin for the AK-47 and by doing this, the page will show the Wear Category that you can select for the skin (we selected Field-Tested):

You can now see the cheapest skin for this category, and by clicking on the Next button it will send you to the Stickers menu where you can select the type and number of stickers on the skin that you want. Once you have selected a sticker for the skin, the page will display the number of available units (in this case seven) currently on the marketplace that have this combination of the skin with the stickers on it.

Here’s where it gets interesting because underneath the sticker selection, there is a blue button labeled Request Screenshot. Once you press it, the page will provide a screenshot of the weapon with the skin and the sticker on the position you selected (1, 2, 3, 4).

If you were not sure how the skin would look with a sticker or several stickers on it, then the weapon builder can help you – just remember that if the Weapon Builder cannot show you a result of the skin with the stickers, then that means that the specific combination that you’re looking for is currently unavailable in our marketplace.

Happy weapon building!

OPSkins Site Update: Cashouts Just Got Even Easier

Update 12/21/2016: Added Paylution as a new cashout option. You can read here for more information.

Today we introduced new features to the OPSkins cashouts page – it’s now even easier to send the money earned from item sales to your PayPal account or bitcoin wallet.

Now you can stack cashouts so you don’t have to submit multiple requests until you reach the amount you want to cashout, and if you want to cashout the maximum amount available in your account, you can do it with one button.

See the screenshots below or head on over to the cashouts page to check it out for yourself.

This is the most recent improvement to the cashout feature on our marketplace – earlier this year we added the one-hour cashouts feature (you can see a summary of all recent updates made to OPSkins here).

As you can see, payment processors are now listed on the right side of the screen and we have added a one click cashout button.

Cashouts to your PayPal account have two options: One-Hour Cashout or Standard Cashout (which takes 4-7 days to be issued). Bitcoin cashouts are currently available with the Standard Cashout option only.

As always, if you’re issuing a Bitcoin cashout request we will have to verify your account through our whitelisting process.

We are also currently working on bringing you the one-hour cashout option for Bitcoin, it will be available soon

The New CS:GO Glove Case on OPSkins

Called it.

Back in January of this year we wrote a post about a small graphics update for the textures of the arms and gloves for both Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists, where we speculated that the gloves would become a new class of CS:GO skin. And sure enough, yesterday Valve delivered with the CS:GO Glove Case.

The Glove Case, now available on OPSkins Marketplace, contains 17 new community designed skins, and a whopping 24 new glove skins. They will all be available to trade on around December 5th when they become tradeable.

New Gloves in the CS:GO Glove Case

They are the Moto Gloves Eclipse, Moto Gloves Spearmint, Moto Gloves Boom!, Moto Gloves Cool Mint, Driver Gloves Weave, Driver Gloves Crimson Weave, Driver Gloves Convoy, Driver Gloves Diamondback, Hand Wraps Leather, Hand Wraps Spruce DDPAT, Hand Wraps Badlands, Hand Wraps Slaughter, Bloodhound Gloves Charred, Bloodhound Gloves Guerrilla, Bloodhound Gloves Bronzed, Bloodhound Gloves Snakebite, Sport Gloves Pandora’s Box, Sport Gloves Hedge Maze, Sport Gloves Arid, Sport Gloves Superconductor, Specialist Gloves Crimson Kimono, Specialist Gloves Emerald Web, Specialist Gloves Forest DDPAT, Specialist Gloves Foundation and Specialist Gloves.

All of the glove skins have wear and they are listed as special items in the case, driving some to believe that the drop rate might be similar to that of knives. We will learn soon enough.

New Guns in the Glove Case

The 17 new weapon skins in this case are: the SSG 08 Dragonfire, M4A4 Buzz Kill, FAMAS Mecha Industries, P90 Shallow Grave, Sawed-Off Wasteland Princess, Dual Berettas Royal Consorts, G3SG1 Stinger, M4A1-S Flashback, Nova Gila, USP-S Cyrex, CZ75-Auto Polymer, Glock-18 Ironwork, MP7 Cirrus, Galil AR Black Sand, MP9 Sand Scale, MAG-7 Sonar and P2000 Turf.

All of them have been designed by artists from the Steam community and should be available in our store around December 5th – 6th.

OPSkins Site Update: New Buy API

We’re introducing the new Buy API, now available for developers who want to buy items easily and on a large scale. It also blocks bots that try to snipe items by allowing a 10 minute window to pass before the item can be purchased.

This means that now you can buy one or more items and deliver them to your OPSkins inventory. Once purchased, the item(s) can be delivered to your Steam inventory using the Withdraw API. In order to prevent bot sniping, this API will only allow for purchases of listings which have been publicly visible for at least ten minutes, and therefore are not limited to purchase only from Buyer’s Club members.

If this API succeeds, then it will contain a root-level balance property containing your new account balance after the purchase, in USD cents ($0.XX).

When using the new API, you’ll have an easier way to purchase a large amount of items and withdraw them to your Steam inventory, either manually or through our Withdraw API.

If you have any questions on how this new API works, you can post them on our Reddit page and our developers will answer.

Also, remember that we are always on the lookout for new ideas that can be transformed into new features! For this new API, or any other new feature that you think could of that would improve your experience on OPSkins Marketplace, let us know in the comments.
