The Gamer Exclusive WAX Token Sale Begins Tuesday (here’s what you need to know)

The Gamer Exclusive WAX Token Sale begins on October 24th and there are a few things you need to know before you buy. If you’re planning on buying WAX Tokens, please read this carefully.

Let’s start off with a quick reminder of what the Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX) is:

  • Who: The creators of WAX are the team behind OPSkins
  • What: WAX is a utility token that’s designed to be used on OPSkins.com and other marketplaces on the WAX Platform
  • When: We’re reserving all sales slots for OPSkins customers during our Gamer Exclusive Main Sale between Tuesday October 24th at 9am EDT and November 1st at 9am EDT. You can still purchase WAX Tokens after November 1st, but the price increases as more tokens are sold.
  • Why: We expect WAX to revolutionize and significantly expand the size of the digital items trading industry, and OPSkins customers have an exclusive opportunity to be among the first to purchase it and at the lowest Main Sale pricing tier.

How to buy WAX Tokens during the Gamer Exclusive Main Sale

  1. You will need Ethereum (ETH) in an ERC20 compatible wallet in order to purchase WAX
    • Where to get ETH: OPSkins will start offering ETH cashouts prior to the sale date, so you can cashout your OPSkins Wallet Funds for ETH. Also, there are many exchanges that sell ETH including Gemini, Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex, and Bitfiniex. Regardless of how you receive your ETH, you MUST send it to us from an ERC20 compatible wallet.
    • How to get an ERC20 compatible wallet: The following wallets are known to be compatible with Ethereum tokens (ERC-20 standard): MyEtherWallet (no download needed), JAXX , Mist (Desktop), Parity (Desktop), imToken (iOS), imToken (Android)
  2. Once you have ETH in your ERC20 compatible wallet, you’ll head to https://opskins.com/?loc=gamersale after October 24th at 9am to purchase WAX.
  3. You will want to purchase early because the price of WAX increases as more Tokens are sold. Specifically, the price of WAX will start at 300 WAX Tokens for 1 ETH and increase 11 times (adjusting after each increment of 1.25 million WAX Tokens sold) to end at 150 WAX Tokens for 1 ETH. You can see a breakdown of the tiers here.
  4. The WAX Tokens that you purchased will be sent to the wallet address that you sent your ETH from. You’ll receive your WAX no later than December 8, 2017.
  5. WAX Tokens can be used on OPSkins in 2018, we’ll keep you updated on it’s progress on OPSkins.com

The Most Expensive PUBG Outfit (Excluding the PLAYERUNKNOWN SET)

The PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS Marketplace has been quickly growing over the last few weeks, leaving many to wonder if PUBG will turn out the be the next gold rush for skin traders. Continuing in our coverage of the growing PUBG Marketplace, this week we will take a look at the most expensive outfit in the game. We excluded the big-ticket items from the PLAYERUNKNOWN SET, which has already had many of its items reach the price limit it can be traded for on the Steam Marketplace.

Once you take away the PLAYERUNKNOWN SET, the price of items in the game drop rather dramatically.  For example, instead of paying $444 on the PLAYERUNKNOWN’S Trench Coat you can get the COAT from the SURVIVOR CRATE for $50. Also in comparison, the GREY SHIRT runs for $80 and the RED HI-TOP TRAINERS for $230, whereas the SCHOOL SHIRT (OPEN) runs for $11 and the SNEAKERS (WHITE) for $25. This is a price difference of almost $700.

Moving down the list you start to come across some lower priced items such as the FINGERLESS GLOVES (LEATHER), CAMO CAP, and TWITCH PRIME BALACLAVA which are all under $15 an item. Up next is the oddest item on the list: the PROTECTIVE GLASSES from the WANDERER CRATE. They are currently sitting at $25 on the OPSkins Marketplace. Finally, to close out the list of the most expensive items in PUBG excluding the PLAYERUNKNOWN SET, is the SCHOOL SKIRT. The SCHOOL SKIRT is currently sitting at $255.

The total price of the current most expensive outfit is $378.66 at the time of publication. While still quite expensive, its nowhere near the price of the PLAYERUNKNOWN SET, which is currently $1,748.89 for the complete set or $1,553.33 if you buy the items individually from the OPSkins Marketplace.

So, what do you think about the most expensive outfit excluding the PLAYERUNKNOWN SET? Do you have any of the items? Any specific item you’re looking to pick up on the market? Be sure to let us know by dropping a comment below!

Instant Sell is Now Available for PUBG and H1Z1: KotK!

Looking to sell your PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS or H1Z1:KotK items quickly? We got you covered! Traders now have the ability to instantly sell your PUBG and H1Z1: KotK items by using the Instant Sell Feature!

We rolled this out a few months ago for CS:GO but based on it’s success, we recently expanded it to include these two games. Instead of listing your item for sale and then waiting for a buyer to purchase it on the marketplace, you now have the option to directly sell your PUBG and H1Z1: KotK items directly to OPSkins for the price that we offer you.

In return for your item, when you use Instant Sell you will have the choice of getting either regular OPSkins Wallet Funds which you can cash out for real money, or Operation Points (OP) which is basically OPSkins store credit that can be used to buy other items on OPSkins (from any game).

So how do you use Instant Sell on OPSkins?

  1. Visit the Instant Sell Page
  2. Select the items from your inventory that you wish to Instant Sell
  3. Then choose your earnings preference – OPSkins Wallet Funds or OP

It’s that simple. So if you have any CS:GO, PUBG or H1Z1:KotK items you are looking to sell quickly, head on over to the Instant Sell Page now.

The Hottest New Shirt In PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS!

With the limited amount of skins available in PUBG, any new item that’s added to the game quickly becomes sought-after by the top players and traders. Most recently, this has been the case with the shirt called the DMM T-Shirt.

The PUBG DMM T-Shirt was originally released as a promotion for a PUBG event held in Japan by DMM, a Japanese entertainment site. Following the event, PUBG DMM began giving away codes for the shirt to anyone who purchased PUBG through the DMM store. The limited method of obtaining the shirt, combined with its inability to be traded, made this shirt one of the most sought-after PUBG items during the last week.

Once this was learned by the community, sites such as Skin Tracker quickly began posting guides for users on how to pick up the shirt through the DMM Store. This led to many players flocking to buy the game so they could get access to this extremely rare shirt. However, as the news broke and more players flocked to DMM to pick up the shirt, DMM quickly suspended automatic distribution of the code to players who purchase the game. This shut down access to the shirt and increased the rarity of the item.

While the item is not currently tradable in the game, many are speculating that the item might become tradable after a short period of time like the Twitch Prime set did after its original release into the game. If the item does become tradable, due to the limited means of currently acquiring the shirt, the prices are sure to quickly rise on the market.

As of now, the only way to secure the PUBG DMM T-Shirt is through traders willing to sell the codes they managed to stock up on during the promotion, and no one knows if it will ever become more accessible.  These factors have led the DMM T-Shirt for PUBG to be now one of the most highly coveted items in the game.

As always, the team at OPSkins is closely monitoring this new PUBG DMM T-Shirt and will let the community know if the shirt becomes tradable. Until then what are your thoughts on the newest item added to PUBG? Do you love it, do you hate it, have you picked one up? Be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
